The purpose of this 42-hour course is to provide participants with an opportunity to increase their knowledge and skills in the area of mechanical maintenance. Upon successful completion of this course and a comprehensive final assessment, participants will receive a non-credit certificate of completion from Chattahoochee Technical College.

Mechanical Maintenance course consists of the following modules:
Module 1 - Introduction (6 hrs) - Mechancial Safety, Machines, Lubrication, Bearings
Module 2 - Hydraulics and Pneumatics (24 hrs) - Pneumatic and Hydraulic Principles, Pneumatic and Hydraulic Systems, and Control Devices and Actuators
Module 3 - Power Transmission (6 hrs) - Chain Drives and Belt Drives
Module 4 - Equipment Handling (6 hrs) - Lifting tools and equipment Cranes and Rigging, Powered Industrial Trucks for Maintenance

Class meets 8:00am - 4:30pm every Friday May 14th - June 11th, 2021.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

• If CTC deems it necessary to cancel a class or testing session for any reason, you will be able to receive a full refund or transfer to another class date or testing session, if available.
• Requests for refunds made at least 5 business days prior to a course beginning are subject to a 3% processing fee.

• There are no refunds for requests made less than 5 business days prior to a course beginning.
