Multi-Craft Industrial Maintenance Program - Level II Austell Campus

The purpose of this 80-hour course is to provide participants who have completed the Multi-Craft Level I training or have basic knowledge of the topic areas an opportunity to expand their skills in several primary areas of industrial maintenance. Upon successful completion of this course and a comprehensive final assessment, participants will receive a non-credit certificate of completion from Chattahoochee Technical College.

The Level II course consists off the following areas:
Digital Theory/Logic (20 hrs)
     - Industrial use, operation and differentiation of Solid State and Relay Logic
     - Operation of AND, OR, NOT, NOR, NAND, and MEMORY circuits
     - Operation of Logic Gate
     - Interface of gate families
Reading PLC Logic (20 hrs)
     - Relay Diagram
     - On and Off instruction
     - Latch/Unlatch
     - Memory and Address terminology instruction
     - Power supply, Input, and Output instruction
Electrical Components (40 hrs)
     - Diodes
     - Rectifiers
     - Semi-Conductor Material
     - Diode Curves
     - Testing Diodes, Rectifiers
     - NTC and PTC Thermistor
     - Hall Effect sensors
     - Semiconductor photoelectric transducers
     - LED displays

Location: Austell Campus, 1578 Veterans Memorial Highway, Austell GA  30168

Class meets 8:00am - 4:30pm every Friday, August 20th - October 22nd, 2021.

 

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

  • If CTC deems it necessary to cancel a class or testing session for any reason, you will be able to receive a full refund or transfer to another class date or testing session, if available.
  • Requests for refunds made at least 5 business days prior to a course beginning are subject to a 3% processing fee.
  • To request a refund please email corporatetraining@chattahoocheetech.edu.
  • There are no refunds for requests made less than 5 business days prior to a course beginning.
