Cyber Security for Small Business

As a small business, you might feel helpless against cyberattacks. Fortunately, you can take steps to protect your company. Start by learning about common cyber threats, understanding where your business is vulnerable, and taking steps to improve your overall cybersecurity posture. Knowing some cybersecurity basics and putting them into practice will significantly help you protect your business while reducing the risk of cyber-attack. This workshop will offer a range of pragmatic solutions to minimize risk.

In this 2-day, 6 hour course we will:

  • Explore the various cyber threats targeting the small business community and their potential impact on your business.
  • Discuss how to conduct an internal risk assessment and identify where your most sensitive information resides and what you can do to better protect it.
  • Discuss work from home considerations, cybersecurity insurance, legal considerations, and the importance of training employees and developing and maintaining information protection policies.
