Accuplacer Placement Tests

• You must have a voucher before scheduling a remote testing session. (Click here if you need a voucher.)
• You must check your device to ensure it meets the necessary requirements if you are scheduling a remote test session (e.g., Zoom installed, system requirements met, working speakers, microphone, and webcam). (Click here for more information.)
• You must be in a private office or room on the day of your remote test session.
• Bring a photo ID on the day of testing for verification.
• If you are scheduling a retest, you are allowed a maximum of three attempts, which includes all test records in the Minnesota State records system.
• These tests are not timed, but we can allocate only up to 180 minutes per session. If you need more time, you will need to schedule multiple sessions.
• There are no test or proctor fees.

CLEP Tests (Currently Not Available)

• You must pay all CLEP test fees before scheduling.
• You must bring your CLEP Registration Ticket on the day of testing.
• You must bring a government-issued ID that includes a photo and signature (e.g., passport, driver’s license, state ID, military ID) on the day of testing for verification.
  • Institution-issued ID cards are NOT accepted for CLEP testing.
• There is no proctor fee (Please note that this is separate from the CLEP test fee).

Cancellation Policy

All in-person testing appointments will be canceled if the university closes due to unforeseen circumstances such as severe weather conditions or events.
