Our Goal
The goal of our testing staff is to assist students and community members with their assessment needs. Our testing staff administers many national standardized tests for students and others in the community. We also administer distance exams for students attending other schools. Please call the Office of Student Accommodations & Testing at 316-978-3309 if you need to set up a distance exam or any exam you do not find on this site.

Testing Email Receipts
The receipt you receive by email will have the reporting location for the test (check your SPAM email box if you do not receive the receipt). If you have any questions about the test location, please call The Office of Student Accommodations &Testing at least one day before the test at (316) 978-3309.
Exams scheduled for July 15th, 2024 and after will report to the NEW Shocker Success Center Room 118 on the 1st floor.
Effective Monday, October 3, 2022, Office of Student Accommodations & Testing will scan each examinee with a metal detector wand prior to entry into the test room. This process has been established to verify that no electronic devices are being brought into the exam room. Examinees requesting to opt-out of the wanding for medical or safety reasons (such as pregnancy, inserted medical devices, etc.) must request this accommodation through the Office of Student Accommodations & Testing at OSAT@wichita.edu Students must request this accommodation at least one work week prior to the exam. Examinees who refuse to be wanded, without an approved accommodation, will be required to reschedule their test.
CLEP
- CLEP exams are given on computers in WSU Testing Services.
- You are responsible for checking which CLEP exam(s) your university will accept. Click here for a list of CLEP tests accepted for credit at Wichita State University.
- The $28 WSU non-refundable testing fee is paid during the online registration process on this website.
- Before you come to WSU for your test, you must also create a CLEP account to register and pay $95 to CLEP for the test at My Account.
- If you are enrolled in a Wichita State University course but decide you would like to take a CLEP test to earn credit for that class, you must drop the WSU course BEFORE taking the test.
- You must bring two CLEP approved forms of ID to the test. Click here for more information.
- Scores are received immediately after the test, except for English Comp W/Essay.
- CLEP guides are available for purchase at the WSU Bookstore.
- CLEP guides may also be checked out at the WSU Library.

DSST
- Computer-based tests.
- You are responsible for checking which DSST exam(s) your university will accept. For a list of DSST/DANTES exams accepted for credit at Wichita State University click here.
- The $28 WSU non-refundable testing fee is paid during the online registration process.
- You will pay the DANTES test fee ($95) the day of the exam on the DANTES website. That fee can be paid by credit card only.
- Please call the test center one week before your test date to confirm your appointment.

Nursing - Test of Academic Skills (TEAS)
The Test of Academic Skills is a required test for students submitting an application to the Undergraduate School of Nursing program at Wichita State University. The TEAS evaluates basic math, science, English and reading skills.
