The payment options for registering online are Visa or MasterCard.

CLEP

The College-Level Examination Program®(CLEP) helps you receive college credit for what you already know. There are more than thirty credit-by-examinations available. Please see your college catalog and your advisor before registering for a DSST exam.

COST: The cost for a CLEP exam is a total of $105 – that is, $80 (paid by credit card the day of the exam to CLEP) plus the administrative fee of $25 paid when scheduling a testing appointment with the BPCC Testing Center. If you meet the criteria for DANTES funding as active duty military the cost of your exam is covered, but you must schedule an appointment for your exam at either the BPCC-BAFB National Testing Center or on the BPCC campus.

SCORE REQUIREMENTS: Most score reports are viewable immediately after the test has ended. You must check with your advisor to confirm that the exam you are taking will apply as credit towards your degree at your institution of choice.

RETEST POLICY: A failed CLEP test may be repeated no sooner than six months (180 days) after the initial date of the exam. DANTES will not fund retesting, although you may cover the cost of retaking yourself (total of $105).

DSST

The DSST® (DANTES Subject Standardized Test) program is a nationally recognized testing program that give you the opportunity to receive college credit for learning acquired outside the traditional college classroom. Please see your college catalog and your advisor before registering for a DSST exam. DSST began as a part of the US Department of Defense Defense Activity for Non-Traditional Education Support (DANTES) program.

If you meet the criteria for DANTES funding as active duty military the cost of your exam is covered, but you must schedule an appointment for your exam at either the BPCC-BAFB National Testing Center or on the BPCC campus.

DSST USER ACCOUNT REGISTRATION: It is recommended that you create your DSST User Account BEFORE you come to the center for testing. Part of the information you will need includes:

SELECT A TEST PROVIDER OR PROGRAM:
- DSST is for nonmilitary or retired military
- DSST (active military) is for active duty military
- DSST Practice Exams is for practice exams only and must be a separate User Name and Password from your DSST testing User Name and Password
TEST CENTER CODE: Is based on the physical location where you test.
- BPCC-BAFB National Test Center code is 7287
- BPCC campus code is 8147
INSTITUTIONAL SCORE RECIPIENT CODE: This code designates the college or university to which the scores are to be sent. Score recipient codes are available at www.getcollegecredit.com.

Distance Education Proctoring

The BPCC Testing Center offers test proctoring services to students enrolled in distance education classes. A test administration fee of $25.00 is required before the exam will be administered. All proctoring arrangements are subject to your instructor’s approval.
