How to Schedule an Academic Exam
- Sign into Blackboard and select Tools from the list on the left of the home screen. If you do not see a list of options, select the menu icon to make the menu options visible.
- Select the RegisterBlast location icon for the location you would like to take your test. Appointments are location specific so please make sure to select the correct location’s icon for either:
- RegisterBlast – Columbus Testing Center
- RegisterBlast – Delaware Testing Center
- RegisterBlast – Dublin Testing Center
- Select the exam you wish to take from your enrolled courses.
- If you do not see your exam listed, please contact your instructor to verify it has been submitted. Exams are visible in RegisterBlast 3 business days after being submitted by the instructor.
- If you are approved for accommodations, select your accommodations from the list.
- Choose an exam date.
- Appointments to test in a Testing Center must be made 24-hours or more before your desired testing date and time.
- Choose an exam time.
- Verify your demographic information.
- Read and Agree to the Exam Guideline Acknowledgement

- Review and Complete Registration
An email will be sent for each scheduled testing appointment. If you experience problems scheduling your exam, or do not receive a confirmation email, please call or email the Testing Center at (614) 287-5750, testingservices@cscc.edu.
Acceptable Browsers
- Mozilla Firefox - version 27 or later
- Google Chrome - version 33 or greater
- Microsoft Internet Explorer on Windows XP - NOT SUPPORTED
- Microsoft Internet Explorer on Windows 7 - version 10 or later
- Opera - version 17 or later
- Apple Safari - version 7 or later
If you have IE 10 or less on Windows 7, the browser supports this new security, but it is turned off by default. To turn it on, Click the Tools menu, then click Internet Options. Click the Advanced tab and scroll down in the checkbox list to find the Security section. Make sure there is a checked box beside Use TLSv1.1 and Use TLSv1.2.
