Requirements and Guidelines
1. You must bring one form of identification. It must be a government-issued, unexpired photo ID with signature and likeness matching exactly what you used when registering. NO EXCEPTIONS. Acceptable Forms of Photo Identification:
- Current driver's license
- State-approved ID
- Current passport
- Tribal ID card
- Military ID
- FIU Panther ID (Only for FIU make-up exams)
2. Electronic Device Policy
No electronic devices are permitted within the testing lab. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Mobile phones of any type
- Tablets
- Smartwatches
- Smart glasses
- Laptops
3. Personal Items Policy
All personal items must be placed in the lockers located outside the testing lab. The following items are not permitted in the testing lab:
- Hats
- Sunglasses
- Snacks
- Electronic devices
- Bags of any kind
- Loose jewelry
- Other personal effects
4. Outerwear Clothing Policy – Effective January 2, 2025
To ensure a secure testing environment, all test takers wearing outerwear must have it inspected upon entering the Testing Center.
5. What Counts as Outerwear?
Outerwear includes jackets, sweaters, coats, hoodies, cloaks, robes, and dusters.
6. Guidelines for Test Takers:

Outerwear Inspection: The outerwear is subject to thorough inspection

Long-Sleeve Shirts: These are allowed, but you will need to roll up your sleeves temporarily during the inspection.

Storage Option: If you’re uncomfortable having your outerwear inspected, to the extent possible, store it in your bookbag or assigned locker for the duration of your exam.

Failure to follow these rules may result in denial of access to the exam.
