Screen reader friendly pageTesting Center: What Students Need to Know
- 🚫 No food or drinks are allowed in the Testing Center.
- 🪪 You will not be able to test without a valid photo ID.
- Blountville: You need an access badge to enter the General Studies Building. Community members can check one out at the Welcome Center.
- Kingsport (BWH): Community members should enter through the front door on Main Street and use the call button.
- 👓 Smart glasses are NOT allowed.
- This includes Ray-Ban Meta and other smart glasses, even with prescription lenses.
- If you wear prescription smart glasses, bring a separate pair of regular prescription glasses.
- If you don't have another pair, contact your instructor or testing vendor about alternate testing options.
- 📱 Do not bring electronic devices to the Testing Center
- Electronic devices brought into the Testing Center must be stored during testing.
- Testing staff are not responsible for personal items you choose to bring for storage.
- 🔑 Only bring what you need:
- Photo ID
- Car keys
- Supplies specifically listed for your exam
- ⏱️ Check your confirmation email/receipt.
- The time listed is an estimated testing duration.
- Actual testing time may vary depending on the exam.
- Some exams have fees that are not paid through the registration system.
- 📅 Testing appointments open 3–4 weeks in advance.
- Check back often because new dates are added as needed.
- 📍 Testing locations:
- Most testing is at the Blountville campus.
- Select testing is available part-time in Kingsport.
- Elizabethton does not have a permanent Testing Center, but testing is offered there approximately 2–3 times per semester.

- Please email or call the Testing Center as soon as possible.
