Students:  If you are an Ohio University student or you are scheduling for a placement test, please log in at the top of the page before proceeding. 

Instructors: If you are an instructor and need to submit an exam please go to the Professor Portal to submit your exam.

Please note that if your exam does not show in step 4 you will need to change your selection in Step 3.  

For example: If you select paper-based testing in step 3 and your exam does not show in step 4, return to step 3 and select computer-based testing.  If you still do not see your exam please contact Ohio University Southern Testing Center at OUSTestingCenter@ohio.edu or call (740) 533-4600. 

In order to take a placement exam, you must have already applied to Ohio University and have received your PID number. Please use that PID number to activate your Ohio University account by going to http://account.ohio.edu. Return here and sign in at the top of the page to continue your test scheduling appointment.

PLEASE NOTE: You may only take the placement test ONCE (1) in a 12 month period. No retakes will be permitted for 12 months.

THE FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE PROHIBITED FROM THE TESTING ROOM:

CELL PHONES, ELECTRONICS, SMART WATCHES, HOODED CLOTHING, HATS, WIDE HEADBANDS, BACKPACKS, LAPTOPS, OR ANY OTHER ITEM OR DEVICE NOT PROVIDED BY THE STAFF.

PLEASE LOCK YOUR ITEMS IN ONE OF THE LOCKERS PROVIDED OR RETURN THEM TO YOUR VEHICLE.
