Testing Accommodations
FAQ
Which test should I schedule?
Schedule Extended-Time, Distraction Reduced to receive extended time and/or other approved testing accommodations in a distraction reduced environment.
Only schedule the Isolated Environment to use approved accommodations that would be disruptive to other students.
How much time should I schedule?
Multiply the time the class will be allowed by the amount of extended time you are approved for. Schedule an appointment that is the same length or longer than the amount of time you are allowed. Example: If the class receives 75 minutes (1 hour 15 minutes) to complete the test and you are approved for 1 ½ extended time, you are approved to receive 113 minutes (1 hour 53 minutes) and you should schedule a 2 hour appointment to receive all of the time you are approved to use.
When is the best time to take my test?
You are required to schedule your test to occur at the same time the class is taking the test. If this will create an academic conflict (meaning you will miss part of a different class due to approved extended time) you are required to schedule your test for the nearest available date and time.
