ACT On-Campus
Fee: $75.
Only for admission to Mississippi State University.
Administered by appointment. Make test date requests when you register.
1. You must register and pay online for the ACT-Residual testing fee.
2. Valid Photo ID Required
3. Bring non-graphing calculator (www.actstudent.org)
4. Arrive at least 15 minutes early
5. To register, click "By Appointment" and then continue through the payment processing steps online.

You must wait a minimum of 60 days before retesting. If 60-day limit is violated, the retest scores will be cancelled by ACT and there will be no refund.

CLEP
The following CLEP exams are accepted by MSU for credit: American Government, Calculus, Chemistry, College Algebra, Financial Accounting, French Language, German Language, History of the US I, History of the US II, Information Systems and Computer Applications, Introductory Business Law, Introduction to Educational Psychology, Introductory Psychology, Introductory Sociology, Precalculus, Principles of Macroeconomics, Priniciples of Microeconomics, Principles of Marketing, Spanish Language, Western Civilization I and Western Civilization II
CLEP NOTICE: ALL CLEP exam payments must be made online through the My Account registration portal. Test-takers are still required to submit the $23 test center fee on our Registration site.
Upon completing the account registration process each test-taker will print a Registration Ticket that they must present at the test center as proof of payment and for check-in information.

Follow the steps below.
- Submit the $23 test center fee via the registration site. (link below) http://www.registerblast.com/msu/exam
- Proceed to the CLEP website to complete registration and pay the exam fee. (link below)
http://clep.collegeboard.org/register/exam - Print a Registration Ticket as proof of payment. The ticket will include a Ticket ID (used with iBT) and a Voucher ID (used with eCBT).
- The Registration Ticket MUST be presented during check-in at the test center.
- The CLEP test is a total of $103 with two separate payments.
- The Service Fee of $23 is paid online and is non-refundable.
- The Test Fee of $80 is paid on the day of the test (check, money order, credit or debit card only; cash is not accepted). Checks for this must be payable to CLEP.
- CLEP tests are 90 minutes long.
- It takes approximately 2-3 weeks for your score to get to your institution.
- You will get a printout of your scores the same day you take your test to know if you get credit or not for that class.
- MSU does not accept all CLEP exams. It is your responsibility to check with Registrar's office to be sure the exam you want is acceptable (662.325.2022).
- You can take each subject once every 180 days.
- Important:Bring your driver's license passport or photo ID with signature. We provide you with scratch paper and pencils and no calculators are allowed.
- Student ID is not an accepted form of ID

MAT
- Fee: $78
- The MAT is 60 minutes long.
- It takes approximately 2-3 weeks for your score to get to your institution.
- There are 3 different forms of the MAT and you can only take each form once in a 12 month period.
- Important:Bring your driver's license passport or photo ID with signature. We provide you with scratch paper and pencils and no calculators are allowed.
- Student ID is not an accepted form of ID.

Distance Exam Proctoring
As a public service, Mississippi State University Testing Services proctors examinations for other institutions. MSU students needing exam proctoring for MSU should contact Continuing Education at 325-3473. Non-MSU distance exam candidates should follow this procedure:
- Arrangements for such testing must be made before the exam is sent to Mississippi State University.
- For a computer-based distance exam: Notify your home institution to forward exam information to testing@saffairs.msstate.edu (Attention: Mary L. Vaughn, Associate Director)

When we receive the examination or exam access information, we will contact you to confirm an appointment time for testing.
- There is a charge of $13, $23 or $33 depending upon the time for each proctored exam. Pay the registration fee on-line at www.ats.msstate.edu/testing. Use the Online Testing Registration button. The fee covers handling of the examination consistent with sound testing procedures and the instructions from the home institution, completion of any and all forms and actual supervision while taking the test, however, any postage will be the responsibility of the home institution or the student.
- You must present a valid government issued photo I.D. (driver's license) in order to test.
- Although every effort will be made to accommodate all requests, the actual scheduling of the examination may be determined by testing center hours, staffing, time of the term, etc.
- We will not fax tests, answer sheets, etc. to the home institution.
- We will not make special trips to the post office, UPS, FEDEX, etc. for quicker mailings. (If priority mail, etc. has been paid by your home institution or yourself, the envelope will go out with the regular pick up or delivery which may be the following business day.)
