The payment options for registering online are Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
All test fees are non-transferable and non-refundable. You must be in your seat 30 minutes BEFORE your scheduled test time. You must register no later than 3 business days prior to the test date.

If you are found to have any prohibited items during the exam, you may have your scores canceled and it will affect future ability to test with South Plains College. ACT
The ACT (American College Test) is America's most widely accepted college entrance exam. It assesses high school students' general educational development and their ability to complete college-level work.
Facts about the ACT
- Standardized test that covers four skill areas: English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science.
- The Writing test, which is optional, measures skill in planning and writing a short essay.
- SPC students are not required to take the ACT but are highly encouraged to for scholarship purposes.

TSIA2 ASSESSMENT
Facts about the TSIA2 Assessment
- The TSIA2 Assessment is a computerized test designed to determine whether a student is college-ready in Reading, Writing and Mathematics. The TSIA2 is multiple choice (except for the Essay section) and is computer-adaptive.
- The TSIA2 Assessment is developed and maintained by the College Board. The TSIA2 Assessment consists of Math and ELAR. (Combined Reading and Writing components with an essay).
- All test fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- You must have an application on file at SPC and know your SPC student ID #. (This can be found on your SPC acceptance letter or when you log into Texan Connect)
- You must register at least three (3) business days in advance.
- The TSIA2 ASSESSMENT is an untimed test during our office hours of 8:00 am-4:00 pm. Our summer hours are Monday – Thursday 8:00-4:00 and Friday 8:00-3:00. Please keep in mind, when scheduling your test, that testing will conclude 30 minutes before closing each day.
- Required: You must complete the Pre-Assessment Activity (PAA). You will not be allowed to take the test without proof of having completed this activity (SPC requires a printed copy of the certificate) Click here to take the mandatory Pre-Assessment Activity.
- The testing fee is $33 for all parts and $23.00 for one (1) part. This can be paid online with a debit/credit card, or you may register in person with money order, cash, or debit/credit card at the Testing Center. The testing fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- YOU MUST BE IN YOUR SEAT 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO YOUR DESIGNATED TEST TIME. Report to the Testing Office, located in the Student Services Building.

Please read the following before registering for the TSIA2 Assessment. All registrations are non-refundable and non-transferable. You will be denied admission to the test and will need to repay and reschedule for another testing date if you do not have the items listed below or if you are late to the test:
- You are required to complete a Pre-Assessment Activity before you test. At South Plains College, we require you to complete this activity before you register for the TSIA2. When you complete the PAA, you will get a certificate sent to the email address you provided during the registration process. You must print the certificate and bring it with you to the test. You will not be allowed to test without the printed PAA certificate.
- A valid, current form of identification that includes the test taker’s legal name, signature and a recognizable photograph. The identification must be checked before testing and rechecked at the end of testing. Acceptable forms of photo identification include current and valid: Driver’s license, state-approved or federal ID, military ID or passport. Only physical ID's will be allowed. We will not accept any ID from a cell phone or a copy of an ID.
- You must bring your paid testing receipt. You will not be allowed to test without it.
PROHIBITED ITEMS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Associate Degree Nursing Program Entrance Exam
Facts about the TEAS-RN Test
- The TEAS-RN (Nursing Entrance Exam) is the first step to being admitted to the Associate Degree Nursing Program (ADN). The Associate Degree Nursing Program begins classes on the Levelland Campus twice a year. (Please visit with the Nursing Department on deadlines.)
- All test fees are non-transferable and non-refundable.
- You must have an application on file at SPC, know your SPC student ID#, and be applying for SPC’s ADN program.
- You must register at least three (3) business days prior to the test date
- Create an account online at www.atitesting.com
- Choose South Plains College - Levelland TEAS as the institution.
- If you have created an account with ATI in the past, please make sure to update your account to reflect South Plains College - TEAS as the institution.
- Be sure to bring your current username and password to the test.
- The timed computer test consists of:
Reading: 55 minutes - 45 questions
Math: 57 minutes - 38 questions
English: 37 minutes - 37 questions
Science: 60 minutes - 50 questions - Minimum score required is:
- 58.7% on Reading, Math and English.
- 50.0% on science.
- The test fee is $75.00 and is non- refundable and non-transferable.
- You have four (4) testing opportunities per application cycle. Test scores are good for one calendar year.
- You must be TSI compliant before registering for the TEAS - RN test. See nursing department for more information.

CLEP
Facts about the CLEP Test
- All fees are non-transferable and non-refundable.
- For all tests except College Composition and Spanish with writing, you will receive an unofficial score report when you complete the exam. College Composition and Spanish with writing, CLEP has to score the two essays, so you will receive your score in a few weeks. Your institution should receive the official score report in 2-4 weeks after the test date. Check with your school to confirm they have received that report.
- CLEP policy is that you can not repeat the same test title within three (3) months.
- SPC College Policy states that a student cannot receive CLEP credit for any course that he/she has attempted (enrolled, dropped, withdrawn, etc.).
- SPC will only grant credit and post on your transcript once you have earned 9 credit hours at SPC.
- All examinees must go to the CLEP website http://clep.collegeboard.org/ to establish “My Account,” to register for a specific CLEP exam. This process includes paying the $95.00 test fee to CLEP. You then MUST print out your Registration Ticket and bring it with you on the day you test.
- In addition, SPC requires a $23.00 CLEP fee to be paid online or in our Testing Center. You must pay the $23.00 service fee at least three (3) business days in advance; this fee can be paid online with a debit/credit card or in the Testing Center with cash, debit/credit card, or money order. You will be given a receipt for this payment that you MUST bring with you the day of the test.
- YOU MUST BE IN YOUR SEAT 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO YOUR DESIGNATED TESTING TIME. Report to the Testing Office, located in the Student Services Building.
Please follow these steps to register CLEP at their website:
Go to http://clep.collegeboard.org, then click on “Sign In”
- Click “Register for an Exam" and choose the Exam you wish to take and add to cart.
- You must select a specific CLEP test to take and pay for (be especially careful to choose the correct test. The test that is listed on your Registration Ticket when you come to take the exam is the one that we must give you; we cannot change the exam at the test center.
- Click the following link for a list of CLEP exams for which SPC will award credit, and information regarding such credit: Credit by Examination.
- You will create an account and pay the test fee of $95.00 to CLEP
- Again, you MUST have a printed copy of your CLEP Registration Ticket when you come to take your exam – no ticket, no test!
SPC does require you to register and pay online for the CLEP exam and for the SPC exam fee at least three (3) business days in advance. When you register online for the SPC fee, this confirms your SPC CLEP testing date.

- Print out and bring your CLEP Registration Ticket with you on the day of the test.
- Print out and bring your SPC paid testing receipt with you on the day of the test.

All students wishing to apply to the PTA program at South Plains College will take the TEAS-PTA test.

- The TEAS-PTA (Exam for the Physical Therapist Assistant Program) is the first step to being admitted to the PTA program. This program is on the Levelland Campus.
