Register for a NURS Dept. Credit Exam In Person at DLTC
NURS Departmental Credit Exam
Nursing Departmental Credit exams provide licensed practical nurses (LPNs) the opportunity to demonstrate knowledge of required nursing content. Testing is offered three times per year: March through April, June through July, and October through November.
- A departmental credit exam may be attempted only ONE time. Testing is offered three times per year: March through April, June through July, and October through November.
- LPNs are eligible to take this exam only AFTER receiving testing approval by the Associate Degree Nursing Program.
- Each test has an 120-minute time limit, and you must have a minimum score of 850 to pass the exam.
On-Site Testing Registration Instructions for the Distance Learning Testing Center (DLTC) Reservations and payment for in-person testing will be through RegisterBlast.
- The test fee is $66 paid online (credit card, debit card or e-check) and is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- You must bring a valid form of ID (non-expired --driver's license, passport, or other government issued identification with picture and signature) to the testing center.

Step 1: Register for an appointment at WKU DLTC using this link: Register online now!
After clicking on the Register online now link, select the following:
- A. Choose a group: Non- Academic Exam - Exams not associated with a WKU Course
- B. Choose a group: NURS Departmental Exam @ DLTC
- C. Choose a group: Maternity or Mental Health Departmental Exam @ DLTC
- Complete the rest of the steps and add to cart then make payment.
Step 2: Create an Evolve account and register for a time slot in Evolve that corresponds to the date you scheduled with DLTC using one of these registration links:
