Fees
When you set a date & time for an exam on campus within these pages, you will be asked to pay the associated fee for that exam, if applicable. This fee is non-transferrable and non-refundable. The payment options for registering online are Visa and MasterCard.
Current fees at Georgia State University (as of September 2024):
- ACCUPLACER - $25
- CLEP - $25
- DSST - $25
- Legislative Exams - $20
- Math Placement Retest - $25
- On Campus ACT - $75
- Proctored Exam Fee - $50 per test
CLEP & DSST exams require a fee (paid to the vendor), Their current fees can be found at:

Additionally a second appointment (and thus a second GSU fee) is required if you must take the essay exam with the CLEP Literature exams.
If you are not making an appointment but instead requesting an ACCUPLACER Voucher, you will not be charged a fee by us, but you will be charged a fee by the proctoring organization of your exam (Meazure Learning's ProctorU or a college or university local to you).
If you are requesting an online History or Constitution exam be set up for you, you will not be charged a fee by us, however the exam is timed. The proctored version of the exam is untimed.
If you are requesting a Proctored Exam appointment, you will be asked to pay the proctoring fee - and sent a link to do so - after your exam has been received from your institution or organization and an appointment has been finalized.
